"I am passionate about math and believe anyone can be successful given a growth mindset and a good teacher. Mathematics should not be the anxiety-inducing subject learned by memorizing formulas as it is taught in schools today. Math is all around us and in everyday life, so I gear my lessons to students’ interests and curiosities.
I enjoy working with students of all ages and math levels. I teach high school Geometry, Algebra II, and Data Science at a private school in Boca Raton. I have a BA in Mathematics from the University of California, Santa Cruz and completed my student teaching through their CalTeach program.

I have created curriculum for Algebra I and II, Geometry, Precalculus, Trigonometry, and Financial Literacy and have tutored from elementary school math through Calculus, as well as math for sciences.

I also have full capabilities and tons of experience teaching on Zoom, Teams, and other online video platforms. I offer individual or group classes. I work flexible hours, meaning I can fit in your routine – whether that be school, full- time or part-time work, or availability only on weekends.
When the student's math level surpasses the parent's proficiency, I offer affordable rates for regularly scheduled daytime math classes.
